🌊Waves Wednesday 🌊

It’s been another exciting week in my journey as an independent travel agent!

I’ve now started my Silversea training, with a very exciting ship visit to Silver Dawn in Southampton coming up the weekend after next. 🚢✨

Luxury cruising is an area I’m really keen to develop my knowledge in, so I’m looking forward to learning more about the Silversea experience and seeing Silver Dawn for myself.

It got me thinking about just how much has happened in the last 7 months…

✨ Continued cruise training and professional development.

✨ Growing my knowledge across a range of cruise lines and destinations.

🌴☀️ DESTINATION SPOTLIGHT: BENIDORM! 🇪🇸❤️

We’ve just got back from Benidorm and… what a holiday! 😍

If you’ve never considered Benidorm, let me tell you why we’d definitely go back!

🏨 OUR HOTEL – H10 PORTO PONIENTE

We absolutely loved our stay at the fabulous H10 Porto Poniente.

✨ Attentive, friendly staff.
✨ Great food.
✨ Fantastic facilities.
✨ Rooftop terrace.
✨ Pool, spa & gym.
✨ Incredible views! 😍

It was the perfect place to relax after a busy day exploring.

🎤 ENTERTAINMENT GALORE!

Benidorm certainly knows how to put on a show!

We saw comedians Pablo Bloom and Tony Scott — although if you’re easily offended, Tony Scott probably isn’t for you! 😂 We thought he was absolutely hilarious!

We also enjoyed some brilliant tribute acts:

🎤 Michael Jackson.
🎤 Pink.
🎤 Justin Bieber.
🎤 Adele.

🍹 OUR FAVOURITE BARS

In the New Town, Uncle Peds and Rockerfellers were two of our favourites. Great atmosphere, drinks and entertainment! 🍸

For lunch in the Old Town, we really enjoyed Sherrys. 🍽️

🪂 AND YES… WE WENT PARASAILING!

This was a BIG one for me because I’m scared of heights! 😳

But I did it… and WOW! The views over Benidorm were absolutely incredible. 😍

❤️ OUR VERDICT?

We had a fantastic time in Benidorm.

Whether you want sunshine, beaches, entertainment, nightlife, great food, relaxation or a few adventures thrown in, there really is something for everyone.

I would also say that the transfers I booked through Zoe's Global Getaways worked really well too. It was well worth spending a little extra to have the seamless private transfers.

Would we recommend Benidorm? Absolutely! 🇪🇸❤️

💍⚓️ DID YOU KNOW WE GOT MARRIED ON A CRUISE? ❤️

Before Zoe’s Global Getaways, before becoming a cruise specialist… there was us and one very special cruise on P&O's Azura. 🥰

Simon and I chose to get married at sea, and honestly, it was such a magical way to start our married life together. 🌊💍

So when I say I LOVE cruising, I really do mean it! 😂🚢

Getting married on a cruise meant our wedding and honeymoon could become one amazing experience — waking up somewhere new, enjoying everything the ship had to offer and celebrating together at sea.

And now, years later, I get to help other people plan their own cruise adventures and Simon is an independent travel agent too! ❤️
