ices. Favourite Cruise Tip: Always research what to do in each destination and book it in advance as soon as possible. There's nothing worse than finding out you've missed out on an incredible experience or realising something you really wanted to do is fully booked. What I love about cruising: Think of the most impressive resort you've been to. Now imagine being able to wake up in that resort, open the window, and see something new and breath-taking every morning - that's cruising; and it's an addictive experience.

This week, I had the pleasure of visiting Holland America Line's beautiful Nieuw Statendam at The Liverpool Cruise Terminal - my first time boarding a Holland America Line cruise ship.

Last year I was lucky enough to be a runner-up in Aviate's 'The Big Qatar Airways Giveaway', winning a much welcomed Spa Breaks gift voucher. Yesterday, we returned home from what was an exceptional 1-night's spa stay at the dog-friendly Crewe Hall Health Club and Spa - one of the most majestic and regal properties we've ever had the pleasure of staying in.
