Liverpool is OFFICIALLY one of the top 3 friendliest cities in the UK! 🎉

Us Scousers all knew it anyway, but now it’s been confirmed.

Every year, leading travel magazine Conde Nast Traveller invites readers who’ve been up and down the country to vote for their favourites.

And in the 2026 rankings, Liverpool leapt up from joint eighth place last year to claim second place, with visitors praising the city’s famously warm welcome and quickness to chat to total strangers!

Liverpool’s rivals Manchester dropped down to fifth place from second, getting a score of 86.26 from the magazine’s voters, and despite being hugely popular south of England staycation destinations, Bath and Brighton also fell down the list to ninth and tenth. 👀
