Here I am today in lovely Paignton, Devon. The weather might not be the best, but that's the time of year we're in!

It's still a lovely little place, though, and I bet it would be absolutely beautiful during the summer months. Definitely one of the nicer parts of Devon to visit. 🌊☀️

In the UK, to drive a coach for Oakwards Travel, a driver normally needs a Category D driving licence.

Category D1 – Minibuses with 9–16 passenger seats, subject to the licence conditions.

Category D – Full-size coaches and buses with more than 16 passenger seats.

Driver CPC – If driving a coach professionally for hire or reward, they will generally also need a valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC), unless an exemption applies.

🎆 WHAT A FANTASTIC DAY AND EVENING IN LLANDUDNO! 🎆

For those of you who didn’t book onto today’s Llandudno fireworks trip, it looks like you’ve missed out on an absolutely brilliant day and evening! 😍

Unfortunately, the numbers were a little light today, which is a shame, but we completely understand. With the weather being a bit unpredictable, it’s always difficult to know what to expect.

But here at Oakwards Travel, we roll with it and make the best of every trip! 🚌❤️ And from the photos and videos we’ve seen, the fireworks looked absolutely spectacular! 🎇✨

A massive thank you to everyone who travelled with us today. We hope you’ve had a fantastic time and made some lovely memories.

🚧🚗 A LITTLE BIT OF A RANT… WHAT IS GOING ON WITH LIVERPOOL’S ROADS?! 🤦‍♂️

Now, as a company, Oakwards Travel drives all over the North West day in, day out, but honestly, I don't think I've ever been to a city with as many roadworks as Liverpool at the moment! 😡

Walton Hall Avenue, East Lancs, Long Lane, Warbreck, Heysham Road, Dunningsbridge Road… and that's just naming a few!

Now I'm on my way into town and Pall Mall is chock-a-block, and The Strand is chock-a-block too! 🚗🚗🚗

WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?! 😂

It's getting beyond a joke. Journeys that should be straightforward are taking forever, traffic is building up everywhere, and it's making life difficult for everyone trying to get to work, run a business, make deliveries or simply get home.

We understand roadworks are sometimes necessary, but surely there must be a better way of planning and coordinating them rather than having what feels like half of Liverpool dug up at the same time! 🤷‍♂️

As a coach company, we have timetables to keep, passengers to collect and places to be. Unfortunately, we can't control the traffic, no matter how hard we try!

Come on, Liverpool… surely something needs to be done!

Am I the only one who's fed up with it, or is everyone else feeling the same? 👇😂

That’s us all loaded up and on our way via Sandy Cove to enjoy the fantastic fireworks display in Llandudno! 🎇

The weather is looking much better than the other day, so let’s hope it stays that way! 🤞☀️
