⛴️ Work to build the first new Mersey Ferry in more than 60 years features in the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority which is published today.

We'll keep you updated as the super-modern ferry rapidly takes shape at Cammell Laird's shipyard in Birkenhead - on the banks of the River Mersey. The £26m Royal Daffodil is due to enter service in the summer of 2026.

The Annual Review also details the vast range of Combined Authority activity over the last year - from forging new trade links across the globe to training the workforce of the future, driving business and regeneration, tackling the Climate Emergency and improving public transport.
