The first stop on our walking tour, the wonderful St Michael's Church. With the help of one of our city's top musicians and a man we call God's Mod, Keith the Vicar. Together with the good folk of the church, they've created one of Liverpool's best live music venues.

From Bjork to the Bunnymen, from early Arctic Monkeys to the smash hits of Atomic Kitten to Africa Oyé - The UK’s largest free celebration of African Music and Culture. It’s all here. You'll hear tales of the dreamers and schemers, the hits and misses, the music and the art.

Sefton Park is a true gem in our city’s crown, with a fascinating history of its own, but the park’s role as inspiration, as a backdrop, as artists’ muse and today as a live venue is what we’re here to talk about.
