🏠 The Smallest House in Great Britain is a quirky little gem tucked away on the quayside of Conwy, North Wales. Painted bright red and measuring just 72 inches wide by 122 inches high, it holds the Guinness World Record for being the tiniest house in the UK.

Built in the 16th century, it was once home to a 6'3" fisherman named Robert Jones, who famously couldn’t stand upright inside. The house was declared unfit for habitation in 1900, but instead of being demolished, it was turned into a tourist attraction.

Inside, there’s just enough room for a single bed, a fireplace, and a coal bunker. Visitors can peek into the cramped upstairs bedroom via a ladder, though you can’t fully go up due to structural limits. It’s open from spring to autumn, and entry costs just £1.50 for adults.

It’s a brilliant stop if you’re exploring Conwy—especially if you’re into offbeat travel curiosities.
