🇬🇪 Come hungry. Leave with a taste for Georgia! 🥟🧀🍷

Golden khachapuri, juicy khinkali, colourful pkhali and freshly baked bread… Georgian food is a delicious reason to travel. Add churchkhela sweets and a welcoming table, and a meal becomes one of the memories you take home.

On our 13-day W**e and Gourmet Tour of Armenia and Georgia, you can get hands-on: learn to make khachapuri and shashlik in Tbilisi, Georgian bread and churchkhela in Kakheti, and khinkali and pkhali with local families in the Kazbegi region. Along the way, discover w**e traditions, historic towns and spectacular scenery—with Armenia’s flavours adding another chapter to the journey.

Which would you try first: khachapuri or khinkali? 👇

🇦🇲 Armenia welcomes the world for nature! 🌿

Yerevan is hosting the UN Biodiversity Conference, COP17, from 19–30 October 2026, bringing countries together to discuss protecting the natural world.

It’s a fitting moment to discover Armenia beyond its remarkable monasteries and ancient history: forest paths in Dilijan, mountain landscapes and quiet places that invite you to slow down and explore. 🍂🏔️

Our photo shows autumn in Dilijan—a beautiful reminder that Armenia’s landscapes deserve a place on your travel wish list.

🇹🇷 An extraordinary discovery beneath Turkey’s turquoise waters!

Archaeologists working near Kekova, off the Antalya coast, have recovered amphorae estimated to be 4,400–4,700 years old. Announcing the findings on 14 October, Turkey’s Culture and Tourism Minister Mehmet Nuri Ersoy described the site as the world’s oldest shipwreck.

The jars are believed to have carried olive oil or w**e—offering a fascinating glimpse of Mediterranean trade almost five millennia ago. One unusual vessel may even have been used to make cheese or butter at sea! 🏺🌊

A reminder of just how much history lies beneath the surface in Turkey. Which archaeological discovery has fascinated you most?

🇦🇿 Planning a Caucasus trip? Start in Baku!

Azerbaijan’s border restrictions have been extended until 06:00 on 2 January 2027. Ordinary tourist entry from Georgia by road or on foot remains closed. This deadline is not a confirmed reopening date.

✈️ Our recommendation: fly into Baku, explore Azerbaijan, then continue overland into Georgia and onwards to Armenia. Foreign visitors can leave Azerbaijan by land.

Prefer to start in Georgia or Armenia? We can arrange the reverse journey with a flight from Tbilisi to Baku. A limited rail exception applies to certain visa-free travellers; e-visa eligibility alone does not qualify.
