From the Adriatic south through the continental inlands of Croatia and Plitvice Lakes National Park. We visited Željava airbase, former top secret military facility code name Object 505, a breath taking place close to the border between Croatia and Bosnia&Herzegovina, the largest underground military airport in the former Yugoslavia and one of the largest in Europe. Built in total secrecy between 1948 and 1968 during the Cold War, it was designed to withstand a direct nuclear strike and house up to 58 fighter jets. Exciting Adriatic journey spiced up a bit. We enjoyed as well a great day exploring Plitvice Lakes National Park. 😊🇭🇷🏍️

🏍️ A Rest Day in Hvar 🇭🇷

After days of incredible riding along the Adriatic, it’s time to slow down and enjoy Hvar Island.

No rush. No schedule. Just crystal-clear water, beautiful villages, great food, and the Mediterranean atmosphere that makes Hvar so special.
