Some of my favourite images from our 2018 private Costa Rica tour. I was just starting in photography and it was my first wildlife/nature focused self-drive tour. We completely fall in love with the country. The landscape, the birds, the reptile & amphibian diversity and the people were second to none.

I am going to re-share this picture from last year's Pantanal tour. As we are heading back in less than a month, I start to get excited for our adventure and to see what the Pantanal holds for us this year.

An Anhinga from the Pantanal while drying its wings. Apparently they don't produce enough oils to waterproof their wings, hence they have to dry them in the open air. On the other hand this helps them submerge easier and to hunt underwater.
