Introducing Kitirua Plains Lodge: our latest A&K Sanctuary on the edge of Amboseli National Park, where wildlife roams beyond your veranda and Mount Kilimanjaro greets you each morning.

Thoughtfully designed in harmony with Maasai principles of living alongside nature, the lodge brings together contemporary architecture, local craftsmanship and a deep commitment to sustainability. Featuring 13 private solar-powered suites, an open-fronted bar and dining area, and a wellness space - all with panoramic views across the plains - the stage is set for one of Africa’s great wildlife dramas: alongside the park’s famous herds of elephants, expect big cats, giraffes, hippos and more than 400 bird species.

Baby leopards playing in the Okavango Delta.

Spotted from Baines' Lodge, a leopard mother and her one-month-old cubs were observed by our expert guides. The cubs were seen exploring their surroundings and tumbling through the trees, staying close to their mother as they begin to discover the world around them.

Moments like this go beyond a bucket-list sighting, a first-time mother with her cubs is an exceptional encounter, revealed only through patient tracking and deep knowledge of the land.
