🧺 As well as being home to four of The World's Best 50 Restaurants, Lima is bustling with street food stands and markets, like the Mercado de Surquillo, a true culinary icon in the Miraflores district.

🍫 Churros are a popular street food treat throughout the Spanish-speaking world, though Peru has put its own national twist on the Spanish classic. Peruvian churros tend to be made using a softer, bread-like dough and are hollowed out to make room for sweet fillings like dulce de leche or vanilla cream.
