Congratulations to our colleagues at HF Country House Nether Grange in Alnmouth on their win at the VisitEngland ROSE Awards 🌹

The ROSE Awards recognise accommodation providers across England that deliver exceptional customer service and go above and beyond for guests. We are so pleased that our wonderful team in Northumberland has been recognised for their hard work, dedication and care.

HF Holidays’ Head of UK Country Houses Julia Winterburn and Senior House Manager Allison Carr were delighted to collect the ROSE Award this week.

We were in excellent company alongside many other outstanding hospitality businesses from across Northumberland. Congratulations to all the winners!

Big thanks to HF Tour Manager Jane, out in the Dolomites with a group of HF Holidays members and guests, for sharing these fabulous snaps during their 'Walking the Italian Dolomites' guided walking holiday in Northern Italy.

The weather and visibility have been particularly good this week, so it would be a crime not to share the sunshine to inspire us all to go further!

Congratulations to our group of Ben Nevis Challengers for completing the hike of the UK’s highest peak this week, and back in time for dinner at our country house, Alltshellach in the Scottish Highlands. 🥾⛰️🏆

Thank you to Chris, a guest on our Isles of Scilly Guided Walking with Sightseeing trip, for sharing this brilliant photo from Little Bay Beach on St. Martin's. He describes the group as a "happy bunch of walkers" who enjoyed great weather, brilliant camaraderie and all round - a fabulous holiday. Thank you to Leader Roy for being an excellent guide.

Guests enjoying our option 2 guided walk on our ‘Andorra: Jewel of the Pyrenees’ 7-night holiday gathered for this photo this week at the top of the beautiful Pessons Valley with guide Claude, and HF Leader Tom.

This week, HF Holidays colleagues Jenny & Sarah joined guests and HF Leader Adrian on a guided walk along part of the Tinners Way in Cornwall to see the results of a recent Pathways Fund project.

Working with the West Cornwall Footpaths Preservation Society, the HF Holidays Pathways Fund donated £3,700 towards improvements on two routes regularly enjoyed by our guests: a section of the Tinners Way between St Ives and Trevalgan, and Paul 35, an inland route near Mousehole.

The ongoing work has included a new bench (as seen modelled here!), handrails and critical repairs to several stiles.
As a member-owned co-operative, it is rewarding to see the generosity of our members and guests helping to protect the paths that make our walking holidays possible, while supporting all walkers and the communities surrounding our HF Country Houses.
