Last month, we celebrated a decade of VSI LA with our annual summer party, and what a night it was.🤩

We were joined by colleagues from across the group, alongside so many of our wonderful clients, for an evening full of great food, great energy, and even better company.

A huge thank you to our clients, freelancers, and team members who came together to mark the occasion. Here's to the next ten years! 🥂

As we continue to grow globally, we're evolving our leadership structure to set us up for the next phase ahead.

Norman Dawood, VSI's founder, moves from CEO to Executive Chairman, a role that lets him continue supporting our strategy and leadership team while stepping back from day-to-day management.

William Russell, previously Deputy CEO, steps into the role of CEO. William has played a key part in shaping VSI's strategy and leading our teams, and is brilliantly placed to lead us forward.

Alexander Weiser becomes President, recognising his pivotal role in building our client relationships worldwide and driving our business across the Americas and Asia.

As Norman put it: "Our success has always been driven by the talented people across VSI, our deep client relationships and the strength of our leadership team."

Congratulations to William and Alex, and huge thanks to Norman for his continued leadership as we build on VSI's strong foundations together. 👏

Last week, our London office welcomed 17 students and a lecturer from the UCL‑HNNU Translation Summer School for a behind-the-scenes look at the world of localisation.

The day covered it all, including an introduction to VSI and career paths in the industry, the fundamentals of subtitling production, a look at in-studio work and adaptation, and finishing off with a tour of our studios.

It's always great to connect with the next generation of language and media professionals. Thank you to Maria, Marcus, and Busra for such a great session, and to UCL-HNNU for the visit!
