Epic roads are great... but wait until you see the hotels 🇪🇸

When planning a motorcycle tour, most people focus on the riding.

And don't get me wrong — the roads on our new Great Spring Ride: Old Spain (April 13th - April 27th, 2027) are absolutely incredible.

But one thing that often surprises riders on a Wild Roads tour is just how special the hotels are.

For this adventure we've included a number of Spain's famous Paradores — historic castles, monasteries, convents, palaces and mountain retreats that have been transformed into luxury hotels.

Just a few examples include:

🏰 Parador de Argomaniz – a stunning Renaissance palace overlooking the Basque countryside.

⛪ Parador de Almagro – a beautifully restored 16th-century convent in the heart of La Mancha.

🌄 Parador de Guadalupe – located beside one of Spain's most spectacular monasteries.

⛰️ Parador de Fuente Dé – surrounded by the towering peaks of the Picos de Europa National Park.

These aren't just places to sleep.

They're destinations in their own right.

Places where you can park the bike, enjoy incredible local food, relax by the pool, soak up centuries of history, and share stories from the day's ride with fellow adventurers.

We also mix in some fantastic independent hotels along the route, but we're huge fans of the Paradores because they consistently deliver:

As we wrap up our first self-guided NC500 trip and our first guided Picos & Pyrenees adventure of the year, here’s a snapshot of some of the fantastic reviews that have come in so far 😎

Everyone made it back home safely to the UK, and what an incredible adventure it was!

The Picos & Pyrenees Tour – May 2026 was absolutely epic. From stunning mountain roads and unforgettable scenery to great food, plenty of laughs, and some fantastic riding, it was a trip to remember.

A huge thank you to an outstanding crew of riders from all over the UK for making it such a brilliant experience. It was a pleasure sharing the road with you all.
