"I'm a capable traveler and wanted a DIY trip to St. Andrews, but when I became aware of the service Chris offered I thought it prudent to hire him. And I'm so glad I did! Chris's tireless help in identifying our travel window to maximize our chances of playing the Old Course (which we did), arranging other tee times at various clubs, and so forth, was invaluable. Chris at Ginger Beer Golf Travel is your man if what you want is solid planning, freedom to do it yourself, and some available support if your plans change or your travel is delayed. I cannot recommend Ginger Beer highly enough. Go for it, you won't regret it! Playing golf in Scotland is a dream and Chris is the man that will help you turn it to reality."

"I want to thank you for your assistance in securing a tee time at the Old Course at St. Andrews, a bucket list for all golfers.
Thanks to your "Ballot Buddy" service, I was able to join other single golfers to apply online instead of traveling by train from Edinburgh to apply in person for a "Singles Draw".
I teamed up with three other golfers from the USA who were fun and really good guys. I was 100% satisfied with the whole process.

"We had an amazing trip. Ginger Beer Golf (Chris) got us on terrific courses, some we knew and some that would not have been on our radar without his help. When we had a curveball of an unexpected course closure (Turnberry), Chris proactively got us onto Prestwick which was a terrific capstone to 12 rounds of golf in 8 days! We appreciated the advice we received on where to eat as well as the help with late-breaking transportation needs. Hoping that this trip was not a once in a lifetime but first in a lifetime and look forward to working with with Ginger Beer Golf in the future!"

"I'd like to thank you again for helping us to organize our golf trip to Scotland. We had an outstanding time! The weather worked in our favor for the most part, with just some slightly high winds on our last two days. We were very fortunate to avoid rain on each day, and the temperatures were in the high 50's during each of our rounds.
The Old Course clearly had all of the history, but the others were much better in terms of the overall quality. I'm sure getting that guaranteed tee time on the Old Course is what drove up most of our package costs. My group was really impressed with the Castle Course & Kingsbarns. I really enjoyed playing Carnoustie, although the winds made it a challenge!
The Fairmont Hotel was really nice, and they provided shuttle services to downtown St Andrews for dinners and sight seeing. We really only used our rental car to get to the golf courses and to/from the airport.
Again, I want to thank you for your help and patience in working with us. It was truly a memorable trip."
