Established in 1880, and successfully run by four generations of the Whitesides, we are a family owned company in Blackpool & Fylde with over 146 years' experience in offering the utmost customer care, comfort and reliability at competitive prices. He then borrowed a horse and cart from his uncle and started a haulage business and as the saying goes, the rest is history…

Since those humble beginnings Whiteside Taxis has grown, and is the largest taxi company in the Fylde with our new purpose built offices situated in the heart of St.

👻 There's a bit of Halloween mischief going on at Whiteside Taxis! 🎃

A few cheeky little ghosts have made themselves at home on our app! 😂

Next time you book a taxi, keep your eyes peeled and see how many you can spot on the map! 👀🚕

We'd tell them to behave… but they keep disappearing! 👻🤣

🚕 Traffic said “good luck.” Whiteside said “we’ve got this.” 😄

Lynn’s driver was spot on time, smart, friendly, professional — and still got her to Manchester on time despite heavy traffic and diversions.

Basically: traffic tried. Whiteside delivered. 😂

What’s worse on a journey — traffic, roadworks or that one driver who says “I know a shortcut”? 👇

✈️ Same prices. Still no plot twist. 😄

We kept our airport and long-distance prices simple — and they’re staying that way.
Manchester Airport, Liverpool Airport, Heathrow or even Southampton Cruise Terminal… you know the price before you go.

No guessing. No nasty surprise at the end. Just a comfortable ride and one less thing to worry about. 💜

From horse-drawn carriages in 1880 to the cars you see on the roads today, so much has changed… but one thing hasn’t:

We’re still here, and we’re still proudly serving our community.

For 146 years, generations of Whitesides, our amazing drivers and our wonderful customers have been part of this story.

We never take for granted what it means to have been trusted for 146 years.

Here’s to the memories we’ve made, the journeys still to come, and the next chapter of the Whiteside story.
