A hugely successful return to Tramlines Festival this weekend, supporting 120,000 attendees across three days in Sheffield.

We deployed 150 staff a day delivering the safe and efficient searching and screening across 2 gates as well as a community focused external operation and a complex egress plan.

Our teams also redeployed to work alongside Showsec in their front‑of‑stage barrier operations, supporting the excellent work their staff delivered across the weekend.

Great to be back part of such a well established and experienced festival operation. Thank you to every member of the PES team for their hard work.

Tuesday night brought our time at Anfield Stadium with to a close as delivered a huge show to round off a busy and memorable run of events in Liverpool.

Across the build and all three show days, our Practical Event Solutions team supported the event with teams securing back‑of‑house, the stage, dressing rooms and production areas as well as our pit teams who were on hand to provide welfare and look after those lucky enough to make it to the barrier.

A huge downpour just before opening doors didn’t dampen spirits. Once the rain cleared, the crowd came in with energy, ready for a big night, and the atmosphere quickly lifted across the stadium.

80,000+ fans. Two nights. One incredible team effort.
brought an unforgettable atmosphere to Anfield Stadium and our team was proud to support both shows.

From the build through to the final fireworks, our teams delivered front-of-stage pit security, stage security, dressing room coverage, production security and back-of-house support.

With soaring temperatures on Thursday, fan welfare became the priority. Working alongside and everyone adapted quickly to help keep fans, artists and crews safe.

The messages we received afterwards highlight the impact, including this from one fan: “The PES security supervisor worked tirelessly in the extreme heat, constantly looking out for his staff and the crowd. It was a pleasure to witness somebody so passionate about keeping people safe.”

We also had the pleasure of working again with one of the most professional tour security teams we’ve come across. A genuinely great few days with them, we hope our paths cross again soon.

Our team remains on site as we get ready for My Chemical Romance on Tuesday on what is sure to be another brilliant night at Anfield Stadium.

Our team have been at Etihad Stadium supporting two nights of After Hours Til Dawn Tour.

It’s always good to see the stadium transformed for major touring artists and our staff adapting seamlessly to the different operational requirements. At this time of year, we swap between the fields of the summer festival circuit and solid ground, bringing the same professionalism and commitment to delivering safe, successful events.

Great to be part of another fantastic live event and to work alongside everyone involved in making the shows a success.

The first two weeks of the summer season have seen our teams deployed in significant numbers across sites throughout the UK.

Our teams were proud to have supported operations at and Manchester, delivering professional security, crowd management, and specialist support to help ensure safe and successful events.

Alongside these deployments, we have also supported Etihad Stadium, Brockwell Live, City Splash, Freight Island Brixton and Freight Island Manchester.

Despite the challenging heat, our teams showed outstanding professionalism, resilience, and commitment throughout. Thank you to every member of the team for their hard work, and to our clients for continuing to trust us with their events, venues, and audiences.

✅ New Contract Award

Delighted to announce that Practical Event Solutions have officially been awarded the contract as the sole provider for security and crowd management at Manchester 2026.

NO ART are internationally recognised for delivering unique music experiences and global events, and we’re proud to be supporting their upcoming event at Bolesworth Castle this May.

This latest partnership continues to strengthen our growing summer events portfolio and reflects the trust placed in our PES team to deliver professional, reliable, and safety-focused event operations at large-scale live events.

Last weekend we delivered our two‑day, in‑person Supervisor Course ahead of a busy festival season 🎪

The group showed real commitment to developing the leadership, communication, and decision‑making skills that sit at the heart of safe, well‑run events.

We worked through practical scenarios, operational standards and delivery, industry guidance and the expectations we set for supervisors representing us on site, especially as we move into our highest‑tempo period of the year.

It’s always great to see confidence grow across the two days, and to watch future leaders step up with the professionalism our clients rely on 🙌

We’re currently looking for SIA Door Supervisor license holders to join our team for a busy summer of events and festivals across the UK.

We have spaces available and are keen to hear from motivated individuals who want to be part of a professional event security team.

No previous event experience is required!

Requirements:
* Valid SIA Door Supervisor License (essential)
* Right to work in the UK (essential)
* 5 year checkable work/education history in accordance to the BS7858 vetting standards (essential)
* Strong communication skills
* Good customer service and a professional attitude
* Ability to remain calm under pressure
* Punctual, reliable, and able to work as part of a team
* Comfortable working outdoors and long shifts at events
* Willingness to travel to different event locations

On Thursday, we had the absolute pleasure of working at Freight Island, one of our regular venues, for the official MOBO Awards after party! 🥳

With the MOBO Awards being hosted in Manchester this year, during their 30th anniversary, it was a huge moment for the city. The MOBOs aren’t just another awards ceremony, they were created to celebrate and elevate music of Black origin, recognising genres and artists that have shaped the cultural landscape but haven’t always received the recognition they deserve. To be part of something with that kind of legacy and impact was incredibly special for us.

Our team showed up in true A-team style, looking sharp, professional, and ready to deliver. We couldn’t be prouder of the standard they brought on the night.

We’d also like to recognise what a milestone this was for itself. Hosting an event of this calibre is no small feat, and it was amazing to see the venue rise to the occasion.

A special recognition to Mikele Corzato and Stephanie Gianfriglia from the venue management team for their hard work in planning and delivering the event.
