We were delighted to welcome local school pupils to Balbeg Estate, home to Balbeg Country Holidays, for a tree-planting adventure that combined fresh air, muddy boots, and lots of teamwork.
Across two planting sessions, pupils planted 50 rowan trees as part of a unique collection that will grow and thrive here on the estate. With the support of the Galloway and South Ayrshire Biosphere and the Ayrshire Tree Planting Programme who part funded the trees, their energy care, and enthusiasm will leave a lasting legacy. We can’t wait to welcome them back in years to come to see the results of their hard work.
