Brecon Mountain Railway today with a sold out coach. Showery on route but dried up nicely for our 12.30 train.

The line runs about 4.5 miles (7 km) and the
highest Point is Torpantau tunnel, the highest railway tunnel in Great Britain.
Opened 1980 and buillt on the trackbed of the Brecon & Merthyr Railway, which closed in 1964 the original construction began in 1978, with the first passenger train running in 1980.
The railway was extended to Dolygaer in 1995 and to Torpantau in 2014.

Our departure day and our wonderful clients were treated today to the Sky Safari experience at the Parque de la Naturaleza de Cabárceno a wildlife park built in the natural surroundings of hills and mountains and the Cable Car to ensure you cover the park from the air.
Amazing experience before we continued onto Santander for free time before boarding the overnight ferry to Plymouth.

Day three and highlight of this tour the Pico Mountains and Potes this year with the added bonus of taking the Fuente Dé cable car to the view point the furthest you can drive into the mountains. A lovely drive with some challenging tight points on route.

Fuente Dé cable car line covers a 753-metre (2,470 ft) vertical drop. Its bottom station is located at 1,090-metre (3,576 ft) and the upper one at 1,850-metre (6,070 ft). Cabins transport capacity is of 20 people and the trip, which does not have intermediate stops, lasts 3min40sec. The line has a single span and two independent sections with one cabin each, that can be operated separately. Cables length is 1,450-metre (4,757 ft) and the speed of cabins is usually 10-metre-per-second (33 ft/s)[4] Fuente Dé ropeway is the longest single-span aerial lift of Europe

Day two and we sail into Santander in glorious weather, superb crossing and a lovely scenic drive to our hotel the Olimpo based in Isla.
Tomorrow we head to the Picos mountains for stunning scenery and the cable car to the view point.
