The Chobe River forms the border of four nations and hosts the largest elephant population on Earth: 120,000 animals, many of whom swim this river daily. At dusk, elephant herds wade in at eye level from your sun deck.

Fun fact few know: the Chobe River is one of the world's few rivers that flows in two directions depending on the season — a geological anomaly that's still debated.
