Fundraising & Competition Time
Autumn is the season we focus on charity fundraising & for 2026, we are supporting Brainwave; a childrens’ charity that helps children with disabilities & additional needs achieve greater independence. Since September 2025, for 2026 our chosen destination has been Spain.

There are many ways to support charities to raise much needed funds from volunteering to donating unwanted goods. We are always looking for new ideas. Tell us your favourite way to support your chosen charity.

Closing Date for entries is December 31st 2026. Usual ts & cs of booking will apply & exclude peak season dates. All entries will be entered into this years 2027 holiday prize draw.

Less than 30 minutes drive away is the crowned ultimate seaside town in Devon - Lynmouth. Always a favourite family destination for guests to visit, whilst staying with us. .

A massive new Which? survey of over 5,000 travellers has named the ultimate seaside town in Devon for 2026 - and it’s a direct tie on score! Both Lynmouth and Sidmouth scored a fantastic 75% overall, but Lynmouth officially edged ahead in the national rankings at number 21. 🏆

While Lynmouth is celebrated for its dramatic "Switzerland on the Sea" Alpine views and historic water-powered cliff railway, another popular North Devon destination sadly fell right into the bottom 30 for the entire UK. 💔

Ion 27–30 May·3 nights Whortleberry Cottage Public review 5*We had a amazing time everting was perfect 👌 the location is beautiful in middle of nature the cottage was 100% prepared for family with 3 kids. If you want to switch your mind from city noise this is the best place. Lots of activities for kids swimming pool table tennis and freedom Thank you so much and definitely will be back soon.

Daphne 23–25 May·2 nights Fern Cottage Public review 5*Ruth is a great host. we wanted to be away from the hustle for 2 nights and the place did absolutely justice. Pin drop silence at night, birds chirping at dawn and the cottage was just the right size for 3 of us. The complementary raw honey was indeed very tasty.
