🔥Emmett’s Summer Lunch🔥 – Sunday 15th June, 1pm

A magical afternoon of feasting with a four course Sundaylunch from the fire 🔥creatively planned and cooked by artist and food lover George Irvine.

Menu:
Welcome drink of bloody mary or summer spritz
Braunton asparagus with house mayonnaise
Rib of beef, roasted root vegetable salad, roast potatoes, jus
Homemade rhubarb & sweet ginger sorbet with a quinnel of vanilla cream
Local cheese board

We have a well stocked pay bar including a delicious rosé and jugs of Pimms.

Come and get Unyoked at Emmetts…. We have two Unyoked cabins - Bert and Henry - which are sitting in honestly amazing locations (which are private from each other) in our valley alongside Kinsford Water and looking out to Hangley Cleave. Solar powered with woodburner, fire pit, real shower, huge windows and really comfy beds. Dogs welcome too!

Dog agility at Emmetts with Exmoor Agility ! 🐾
Were you watching Crufts and thinking you’d like to have a go at dog agility?
Reward based, fun, new classes are starting now! Build a bond with your dog, learn some new skills and have fun. Outside in the warmer months and indoors in the winter-both safe and secure venues.
If you are a complete beginner or have done agility before… everyone and every dog is welcome. Why not get in touch to see what spaces are available!
Thursday and Friday mornings and afternoons plus other days and times can be arranged, group classes, 1 2 1s, various options available to suit all. Kathryn who runs the sessions will also consider evening or weekend classes if there enough numbers. Generally for dogs 12 months old and over. Class for younger dogs also a possibility if enough interest.

There are residential and non-residential options and non-riders are very welcome too to watch and learn from training sessions.

-2 private training session
-1 pairs polework session

Join us on Friday evening for the latest in The Curious Curator series of conversations… this time with author Catrina Davies. Learn more about her book ‘Once Upon a Raven’s Nest’, her friendship with Ralph Collard and his ordinary/extraordinary life on Exmoor. He grew up here in the 1950s and told her his stories of subsequent loves, losses and many near misses.

The talk tickets include drinks and canapés and you can also book supper for afterwards. Books are available too.

Last Friday - a room full of spring blooms and plates full of spectacular Exmoor mutton from Exmoor Premium Mutton cooked by George Irvine. The mutton is uniquely and expertly reared in the Oare Valley by Tom Burge. Do get in touch with him if you would like some for your freezer - it is spectacular.
