Yep, I’d agree with that … and the good news is that it’s just down the road from us and in full bloom now!

The bad news is that June is fully booked except for 2 nights at the end of next week - Thursday 11th to Saturday 13th June!

If you’re not a million miles away and can sneak a day off - or work remotely - on Friday … surely this has to be worth the trip!!

How we spend our own holiday at TLC …

Ah well ok, maybe not all the time 😉

But it is important to us to keep the lodge at it’s best all year round so there are a few things we always do on our own visits to supplement the great on-site housekeeping and hot-tub support that we have before and after every guest stay

- Jet wash deck & clean surrounds 🧽 🚿
- refill reed diffusers 😊 👃
- replace any worn, lost or broken items 🍷
- restock welcome pack goodies 🍪

It was a busy one this month for sure with a few extra jobs
… never known the deck etc to go so green in only 3 mths 😬
… door lock & bell replaced due to water damage 🌧️
… gate lock fixed following (presumably) heavy winds 💨

A big thank you to the preceding weeks’ guests who either didn’t notice or didn’t care about these slight imperfections 😊

We are in a really peaceful spot, even during school holidays 😉, but still within 15-20 mins of some of Cornwall’s best beaches & brilliant days out … TLC really does offer the best of both worlds! 🥂

With such a great location, from which it’s easy to reach all of Cornwall, and the heated indoor pool & play area (no passes required) on the doorstep what more could you want? 🤔

Ah yes … how about a fabulous sunken hot tub with great views from the large private rear deck! 🫧
