Happisburgh is just down the road from The Salty Sea Dog it has lovely sandy dog friendly beach & if you catch the tide right you can hear the eerie sound of the tide & time bell.
A nice walk is along the beach to cart gap & visit smallsticks cafe & then back along the coastal path back to Happisburgh passing the best lighthouse in the world (in my opinion)

The Salty Sea Dog is not just about the beach, there’s Bacton Woods just 10 minutes drive away around 3 miles away. Bacton Woods is a great place to visit on a hot day as well as those days that aren’t as nice. After a lovely walk in Bacton Woods we like to come back & pop into Watsons Cafe.

This still makes me smile, when Charlie realised he was moments away from his happy place. He gets so excited every time we pull into Sandy Beach Holiday Park & The Salty Sea Dog, he knows he is only moments away from the beach.

Not only can you hear & see the sea with all this lovely weather you can smell the sea. It’s hard to describe the smell of the sea, I guess it’s a salty smell.
