A “burst of dirty thunder” that tore through the late 80s UK scene and left everything else looking neat, tidy… and completely irrelevant.

That noise was CRAZYHEAD.

And now — like some beautifully unhinged ghost crawling back out of a beer-soaked Midlands basement —

Born in Leicester in 1986, Crazyhead weren’t just part of the grebo scene — they were one of its most feral, swaggering, unpredictable beasts. A mutant collision of 60s garage rock, punk aggression, and biker-bar blues, delivered with black humour and zero restraint.

They didn’t fit the scene.
They warped it.
once were
They didn’t follow trends.
They left scorch marks where trends used to be.

And live?

Chaotic. Sweaty. Dangerous.
The kind of show where you don’t watch — you survive it.

Now Anderson is dragging that raw, unfiltered energy back onto the stage at Alice’s Wicked Tea Party 2026 — backed by The Headonists — for a full-throttle resurrection of that late 80s madness.

No nostalgia act.
No polite tribute.

This is the real thing, still snarling.
