⚓️ The Nao Santa María has arrived in Padstow! ⚓️

One of the world’s most famous historic ships is now moored in our harbour, having sailed all the way from Charlestown 🌊

The Nao Santa María is a stunning replica of the flagship used by Christopher Columbus on his voyage across the Atlantic in 1492 — a true floating piece of maritime history. With its towering masts and beautifully crafted wooden decks, it’s an incredible sight to see right here in Padstow.

The ship will be with us until after the Bank Holiday, so if you’re visiting town, make sure to take a stroll around the harbour and see this amazing vessel for yourself ⚓️✨

There are so many places to choose to eat in Padstow while staying at Leafy Hollow. Whether it's fine dining, or pub food, or just chips on the harbour, there is something for everyone. Though if it were us on this glorious bank holiday weekend, we'd be barbequeing in the garden 🌞. And of course we 'always wear sunscreen'!

A Sea life Safari is a beautiful way to spend a day while staying at Leafy Hollow. A short walk to the outer harbour and they will take you out of the estuary to experience the hidden Cornwall including puffins, Guillemots, seals and dolphins. Cornwall

Why do our guest love Leafy Hollow so much? Is it the 'home from home' feel? Is it that it's 'spotlessly clean'? Is it the 'great coffee machine'? Is it that 'it has everything we needed and more'? Is it the 'excellent communication with the host'? Is it the 'superb location within 10 minutes walk of the town'? Is it the 'private parking was a bonus'? Is it the 'large well kept garden?' Lovely comments from our guests who have thoroughly enjoyed their stay at Leafy Hollow over May Day - so much so, they have booked again 😁.
'A fabulous stay with the family. The house is beautiful and we spent a lot of time looking out of the window! We also enjoyed a great May Day festival and were lucky with the weather. We have already booked for later this year - Thank you.
PS. The blue & red bandanas for May Day on the bannister was a lovely touch, much appreciated. Blue 'Oss forever!'

We have a last minute availability from 1st - 13th June in beautiful Leafy Hollow overlooking the Camel Estuary in Padstow. An opportunity not to be missed! A short walk to the harbour and all it has to offer. Large enclosed garden with patio and BBQ area, outdoor dining decking area and balcony to take in the ever changing view.

It's the most important day in the Padstow calender today! Families far and wide come together to celebrate the coming of Summer in true Padstow style. Memories are shared of long ago May Days and glasses are raised to those who are no longer with us to share the day. Have a wonderful May Day!
