We absolutely loved our stay at Riverside Retreat and honestly didn’t want to leave! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely relaxed. Nestled in private woodland on the banks of the Nant Clydach, it really is the perfect place to escape the stresses of everyday life and just switch off.

The cabin had everything we could possibly need and more. It was so well equipped, with all the cooking facilities, utensils, bedding and towels provided, which made our stay completely hassle-free. We especially loved spending our evening around the fire pit, enjoying the peace and quiet while listening to the sounds of nature around us.

The wildlife was simply incredible. We genuinely felt like we were in an episode of Springwatch! We were lucky enough to see so many animals during our stay, and spotting a pine marten was a real highlight that we’ll never forget. Waking up in the morning surrounded by woodland and wildlife was such a special experience.

What we loved most was how easy it was to completely rest and reset. Whether we were sitting outside with a glass of wine, enjoying a BBQ, or just soaking up the tranquillity, every moment felt relaxing. The cabin strikes the perfect balance between being immersed in nature while still having all the comforts you need.

Unfortunately, we only got to stay for one night because work has been incredibly busy, but even in that short time we felt refreshed and recharged. In fact, we enjoyed it so much that we’ve already booked another stay, this time for a whole weekend, and we genuinely can’t wait to come back and enjoy even more of what this special place has to offer.

If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat where you can recharge, reconnect with nature and leave feeling refreshed, Riverside Retreat is an absolute gem. Highly, highly recommended!
