A Coast Path Walk: To Barrett’s Zawn and Back

Head over to the Journal section of our website to get some inspiration for your next walk: a five mile “there and back again” along the South West Coast Path heading northeast out of Port Isaac towards Tintagel Head. This stretch of the southwestcoastpath is wild and beautiful, but can be quite hard work!

"The cottage was exactly as described, modern feel inside without losing the character, really pretty. Easy walking distance into the centre and parking is literally 2 minutes walk away which was actually easier as we didn’t have to manoeuvre the narrow busy streets. The lady on the desk at Port Isaac Bay Holidays was really friendly and helpful and we were lucky in being able to check in earlier. Port Isaac is beautiful and a perfect base for walkers.
I’m missing it already.

Enjoying the view across the harbour through the coastal wildflowers towards Folly 1 and The White House and White House Cottage on Roscarrock Hill, and the view looking back the other way from outside Folly 1!
