An event not to be missed is the High Weald Steam Working Weekend which is next weekend! (13&14)

As the build up of the show starts the first of many heavy haulage trailers made it way to site, an ex pickfords trailer which has been loaded with the Bluebell Railways 1877 built Manning Wardle 641 ‘Sharpthrone’

What the best way to move a trailer? Well by steam of course! Fowler Traction engine 7459 ‘Endurance’ and Marshall Traction engine 51007 ‘Jess’ where used to both load the engine on to the trailer and then take it to the rally site!

What's a great Bank Holiday weekend at The Overlord Show the weather has been hot 🥵, did have one little issue when the ignition switch turned into an Off Off switch, but after sourcing a spring from a pen 🖊️ got it fixed and working correctly again 👍🤪🐻

Heading to the South Coast’s premier military spectacular this bank holiday weekend? Give this a quick read.

The Overlord Show is just hours away—engines, explosions, and an incredible weekend of action await behind the gates.

Arriving at the show:

Parking opens from 7:30am, with gates from 9am (we may open earlier depending on queues). Arrive early to beat the rush—Saturday and Sunday are especially busy.

Good to know:

• Free onsite parking, including disabled spaces near the entrance
• Dogs welcome (on leads at all times)
• Expect uneven ground—wear suitable footwear
• Arena displays can be loud—ear protection recommended for some
• It’s a big site (40+ acres), so plan your day and bring essentials
