🌱To Celebrate World Earth Day 🌿
22nd April

We wanted to share a big project we have been working on ! 🐟🪸

We are slowly trying to restore the lake to its orgional beauty and quality with the use of Natural solutions.
See here our Floating wetland project.

This project has been 3 years in the making ... starting the project through frustrations of water quality related closures, we knew there was a way to clean up the lake and increase Biodiversity to allow the lake to not only maintain quality, but to thrive !

We have worked on this project with so many amazing people so far !
Funded by Southern Water, in Partnership with the University of Portsmouth, Installed by BioMatrix & Expert Advice from Rayner at Fathom Ecology.

And we have really only just started !

Its been a long time coming but this is the first big step in the right direction.

Last night at about 12:45am we experienced what looks to be an arson attempt.
The lad seen here very clearly on our CCTV system, comes down from the footpath, hangs around the cafe for all of about a minute before heading over to the wakepark deck. Promptly ties a hoody around the roof posts and sets fire to it.
As you can see in the videos the supporting post is very much a blaze. Before checking his work and making a dash down the waterside path back to the carpark.

The quick in and out nature and no messing about approach looks as if it was an intenional act.

With the sun setting on 2025 its a great time to look back at our year at the park, and what a year its been !
Thousands of laps, countless hours on the buttons, new faces, old faces, big wins, big slams. Ladies Nights, Demo Days, live music, new features, jumped a sauna, bought a sauna, King of the Cable and so much more ...

Its been quite the year.
We couldnt have done it without each and every one of you and all your support. Thankyou for riding with us, supporting what we do and being part of our community !

We have big plans for 2026 and the wheels of motion are now in place. We will keep you updated on whats happening in 2026 in good time, meanwhile let us know what you want to happen at South Coast in 2026 !

We wish that you all are enjoying a wonderful Christmas this year and that the big guy in the red suit had gifted you all that youd wished for and more !

Feast, drink & party over the Christmas festivities and we look forward to seeing you Saturday or Sunday for some after Christmas punishment / survival sessions or into the new year !

We at know all too well the current state of our rivers and seas and the associated problems that come with that !

We have also signed up to Dip a day through to not only raise money, if people are kind enough to donate, but to help raise awareness of the problem that is currently happening all along our coast line.

As a small watersports business, we know only to well the problem at hand and the impact it has on water users, health and wellness as well as the impact it can have on local businesses in the industry.

We will be taking on the challenge to dip daily through the month of October. We wish to keep it as authentic and true to the brief, so we will be taking a dip in the Cable Lake.
We hope to document every experience of whimpers, explicit overreactions, and chilly wi***es for your pure entertainment.

PARK UPDATE !

We are sorry to say that we had a mechanical failure with the system yesterday 15/11/2024

This means the park will be closed until further notice and no sessions on the water offered.

We are working hard to resolve the issue as quickly as possible and get you guys back on the water with us.

For all of our Loyal Members we will pause your memberships and restart them when we are available to offer wakeboard sessions again.

We will be posting updates on the social media channels to keep all our customers informed as to when we can reopen.

We apologise for the inconvenience caused and thank you in advance for your cooperation!
