The Northern Ireland Explorer – Day 5 🇮🇪

Another brilliant day of exploring Northern Ireland, and today we visited the magnificent Giant’s Causeway, one of the most spectacular natural wonders in the world.

Our day began with a breathtaking journey along the scenic Antrim Coast Road, where dramatic cliffs, rolling green hills and stunning coastal views provided plenty of opportunities to admire the beauty of Northern Ireland.

This afternoon we travelled to the beautiful village of Carnlough, where we enjoyed a fascinating whiskey experience at the Harbourview Hotel. We learned about the rich heritage and story behind Carnlough Irish Whiskey, discovering the passion, craftsmanship and local history that has helped create this unique spirit.

A fantastic day filled with stunning scenery, fascinating stories and wonderful memories. 🍀🥃🌊

Northern Ireland Explorer – Day 4 🇬🇧

Today we enjoyed a fascinating visit to Hillsborough Castle, the official royal residence of His Majesty King Charles III in Northern Ireland.

During our guided tour, we explored the beautiful State Rooms and learned about the castle’s rich history, discovering its important role in both royal and political life over the centuries. The knowledgeable guide brought the stories of this magnificent residence to life, making it a truly memorable experience.

Surrounded by stunning gardens and picturesque grounds, Hillsborough Castle proved to be a real highlight of our Northern Ireland adventure.

A wonderful day of history, heritage, and beautiful scenery enjoyed by all! 😊🏰🌿✨

Northern Ireland Explorer – Day 3 🇬🇧🇮🇪

A fantastic day exploring Northern Ireland with our lovely customers.

This morning we enjoyed a guided tour of Belfast, discovering the city’s fascinating history, vibrant culture and many iconic landmarks. Our knowledgeable guide brought the stories of Belfast to life, giving us a real insight into this remarkable city.

This afternoon we visited the incredible Titanic Experience, where we stepped back in time to learn about the construction, launch and tragic maiden voyage of the world-famous RMS Titanic. A truly immersive and moving experience that left us all amazed.

A wonderful day filled with history, discovery and plenty of memorable moments. Now it’s time to relax and look forward to what tomorrow has in store! 😊

We have arrived safely at our overnight hotel in Caernarfon and are now looking forward to enjoying our evening meal.

After a good night’s rest, we’ll be heading to Holyhead tomorrow morning to board our ferry across to Dublin and continue our Northern Ireland adventure.

The excitement is building, and we can’t wait to explore everything that awaits us over the coming days with our lovely customers. 🇮🇪🚌

We are all set and ready for our Northern Ireland Explorer Tour!

Today we make our way to the historic town of Caernarfon for our overnight stay before boarding the ferry and continuing our journey across to Ireland.

We’re looking forward to welcoming our lovely customers on board and spending the next few days exploring some of the stunning scenery, fascinating history, and warm hospitality that Northern Ireland has to offer.

We have come to the end of our Normandy tour and what an amazing 5 days we have all had 🇫🇷☀️

It may have been our first time exploring Normandy, but it definitely won’t be our last. From beautiful towns and breathtaking scenery to the moving memorials and fascinating history, it has truly been a memorable tour from start to finish.

A huge thank you to all of our lovely customers who joined us over the last few days. You have all been amazing and despite the extreme heat, we never let it beat us! 😂☀️

Thank you for all the laughter, fun and wonderful company throughout the tour. We look forward to seeing you all again very soon on another adventure with Platinum Coach Tours.

Day 4 – Normandy Tour 🇫🇷

Today has been a truly humbling and emotional day of reflection.

Our day began with a morning visit to the historic Pegasus Bridge and the Pegasus Memorial Museum, where we learned more about the bravery and sacrifice of those involved in the D-Day landings.

We then continued to the Normandy American Cemetery, a place of great peace and remembrance, before making our way to Omaha Beach. Standing on the very sands where so many fought so courageously was an incredibly moving experience for us all.

We finished the day with a visit to the British Normandy Memorial and felt deeply honoured to see the powerful “Standing with Giants” memorial — a touching tribute that left a lasting impression on everyone.
