DAY 1
We depart our local area and make our way to our overnight hotel stopping enroute at Trentham Shopping Village for a chance to look around this pretty shopping outlet and amazing garden centre before arriving at hotel in time to refresh before our evening meal.

DAY 2
After breakfast we depart our overnight hotel and make our way to Heysham to board our ferry to Douglas, Isle of Man. Once we arrive in Douglas we make our way to our hotel arriving in time for our evening meal.

DAY 3
After breakfast we depart our hotel and make our way to Lady Isabella (Laxey Wheel), the world’s largest working waterwheel and the island’s most famous icon. After our visit to the Laxey Wheel we board the Snaefell Mountain Railway for a scenic journey to the summit of the islands highest mountain to enjoy the spectacular views or visit the summit café for a light refreshment before continuing back to Laxey. We then continue our tour onto Royal Ramsey for our lunchtime stop before making our way to the seaside resort of Peel for some free time to explore. After our free time in Peel we make our way back to our hotel for our evening meal stopping enroute at Tynwald Hill, home of the 1000 year old Manx Parliament.

DAY 4
After breakfast we depart our hotel and make our way to board the Steam Railway to Port Erin taking in the beautiful Manx countryside along the way. Once we arrive in Port Erin we continue our journey to The Sound Café. Here you will be able to admire the wonderful views of the “Calf of Man” a 2.50 square kilometre island, off the southwest coast of the Isle of Man where you will capture a glimpse of the seals. After our visit here we then make our way back to the hotel via the famous Fairy Bridge arriving back at the hotel in time for our evening meal.

DAY 5
After breakfast we will have a free day to explore the Isle of Man’s largest town – Douglas also known as the capital of the island. Why not take a ride on the Horse Drawn tram along the promenade or take the Manx Electric Railway from Douglas to Ramsey via Laxey. After our free day of exploring we will have plenty of time to relax and refresh before our evening meal.

DAY 6
After breakfast we sadly say goodbye to our hotel and make our way to board the ferry back to Heysham. Once we arrive back in Heysham we continue our journey back to our local area.

DAY 3
After breakfast we depart our hotel and make our way to the historic cathedral city of Lincoln where we will have a free morning to wander through the quaint cobbled streets of the famous Steep Hill, enjoy a spot of shopping in the charming independent boutiques, visit the magnificent cathedral or relax in one of the waterside Cafes. After our free time in Lincoln we continue our journey onto the International Bomber Command Centre to discover the fascinating and moving history of Bomber Command, hear the personal stories of those who served and admire the impressive Memorial Spire. To round the afternoon of nicely we will be served with a delicious cream tea in the onsite café before making our way back to our hotel to refresh before enjoying our evening meal.



DAY 4
After breakfast we depart our hotel and make our way to Louth known as the capital of the Lincolnshire Wolds and renowned for its traditional shops, attractive architecture and St James Church. Here we will have some free time before we continue our scenic drive through the beautiful rolling hills and picturesque villages of the Lincolnshire Wolds before arriving at the traditional seaside town of Mablethorpe where we will have a relaxing afternoon to enjoy a leisurely stroll along the promenade or relax in one of the many cafes with a delicious afternoon treat whilst enjoying the refreshing sea air. Afterwards we return back to our hotel arriving in plenty of time to refresh before our evening meal.

DAY 1
We depart our local area and make our way to our overnight hotel in Hamilton stopping enroute for comfort and refreshment stops before arriving at our hotel in plenty of time to refresh before our evening meal.

DAY 2
After breakfast we depart our overnight hotel and make our way to our main stay hotel – The Grant Arms Hotel one of Scotland’s most prestigious hotels situated in the charming town of Granton on Spey where we will arrive in plenty of time to relax before enjoying our evening meal.

DAY 3
After breakfast we depart our hotel and make our way through the Cairngorms National Park to discover the breathtaking scenery of the majestic mountains, ancient pine forests and sparkling lochs before arriving at the Braemar Highland Games for a demonstration of Scotland’s Highland heritage as skilled performers showcase the strength and skills of the traditional events that take place through the games. After our highland games experience we make our way through the Balmoral Estate with a stop at Cathie Kirk – famous for being the place of worship for generations of the Royal Family before continuing our journey through Royal Deeside onto Ballater, the delightful Victorian village with strong royal connections. Here we will have free time to explore its picturesque streets before returning back to our hotel arriving in time for our evening meal.

DAY 4
After breakfast we depart our hotel and make our way to Speyside Cooperage to learn first hand the importance the cask has in the maturation process of Wh**ky, follow the journey of the tiny acorn to its coming of age as a majestic oak cask and Watch first-hand from the viewing gallery, these master craftsmen at work while they make and repair casks against the clock. Afterwards we continue our journey to the Highland Folk Museum to step back in time and wander through historic buildings, traditional thatched cottage and a recreated 1700s Highland township, discovering how people lived worked and celebrated centuries. After our time exploring we return back to our hotel arriving in time for our evening meal.

DAY 5
After breakfast we depart our hotel and make our way to Inverness the capital of the Higlands to enjoy some free time exploring the wonderful mix of history and culture, browse into the independent boutiques or take a leisurely stroll along the picturesque riverside. After our time exploring we continue our journey onto Loch Ness to enjoy our relaxing Jacobite sightseeing Cruise where we will soak up the magnificent Highland scenery while listening to fascinating stories of the loch’s history, legends and its world-famous resident Nessie!
