🐘 The Best Wildlife Encounters Aren't Always on Safari...

Some of our favourite wildlife sightings have happened from the river.

🦛 Hippos watching us drift past.
🐊 Crocodiles sunbathing on the banks.
🐘 Elephants crossing the river ahead of the rafts.
🐒 Curious baboons looking on from the cliffs.
🐬 Dolphins playing around the yacht.
🐋 Humpback whales breaching just metres away.

One of the things we love most about adventure travel is that you never quite know what's waiting around the next corner.

Zambezi vs Grand Canyon...

It's the question we're asked all the time...

Which river has the better rapids?

The Grand Canyon delivers huge volume, legendary history and an incredible wilderness journey.

The Zambezi?

Imagine dropping into rapid after rapid, with names like Stairway to Heaven, The Mother, Oblivion and Ghostrider, all beneath the towering cliffs below Victoria Falls.

They're completely different experiences...

But if we're talking about pure whitewater excitement...

The Zambezi is very hard to beat.
