I promise no more Canada or Alaska posts after this one! I do organise trips to other places I promise 😂

Just wanted to say I’m back from my travels and it’s very much business as usual again, even though a big part of me is still in Seattle, Alaska and Canada.

These trips were all about seeing and experiencing things first hand so I can bring that knowledge back to you, There is only so much you can learn from a brochure or a website.

Walking the streets, stepping onboard the ships and trying things out for myself means I can give you honest advice, personal tips and suggestions that really match the way you like to travel.

Sun-soaked days, honey-stone cities and crystal-clear Mediterranean waters: welcome to Malta.

Do not forget: the clocks go back by one hour this Sunday, marking the end of British Summer Time.

It means an extra hour in bed (Hopefully) and lighter mornings for a short while, but darker evenings too

If you want to chase the sunshine, escape the dark nights, swap early sunsets and frosty mornings for beach sunrises lounging by the pool, and exploring new places, this winter you know where I am,

Don’t forget to put the clocks back on Saturday night and however you spend your extra hour, I hope you enjoy a slower Sunday start.😎

This reel doesn’t need trending music but its a long one, i wanted you to hear the sounds of this iconic train 🚂. Canada Day 3 & 4…. it’s a bucket-list kind of days.
We were all like kids on Christmas morning full of excitement when we arrived at the Rocky Mountaineer train station, after booking hundreds of people on this iconic train over the years it was finally my turn to experience the Iconic Rocky Mountaineer, travelling from Vancouver to Jasper with an overnight stay in Kamloops.

From being greeted by bagpipes, to welcomed and stepping onto the train in Gold Leaf Service was a real pinch-me moment:
Glass-domed panoramic carriage, plush seating with heated seats and reclining! the most incredible views in every direction. All meals are included, served in the elegant dining carriage below the seating area, with drinks brought straight to your chair be it a good old cuppa, a cocktail of the day or a Hot chocolate with a rather large shot of baileys, every need is catered for! and not forgetting the outdoor viewing area that is perfect for those iconic photos and videos, all be it a tad cold!

The train stops in Kamloops overnight where you are allocated a hotel to pit your head down and sleep before it is up early and back on the train for your onward journey to Jasper

Our second unforgettable day aboard the Rocky Mountaineer
Saw us winding our way through ever more dramatic scenery: glass‑smooth lakes, soaring peaks and endless pine forests, there was more delicious food, ( they also cater to most dietary needed too ) free flowing drinks and wonderful storytelling from the onboard hosts, with views you simply cannot see from the road.

Th trains arrives right in the middle of Jasper, which some describe as a smaller version of Banff, and I can see what they mean I wish we had had longer here, I recommend at least 3 nights, but had just 12 hours, time to visit the beautiful Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge for a site inspection: a stunning hotel in a magical lakeside setting, surrounded by the Rockies and wrapped in that cosy mountain‑retreat feel and more fabulous food! Before falling into bed
