Today we headed off to Volcano Bay, and with temperatures hitting a scorching 35°C, the pools were a very welcome relief! 🌞💦
We took on the Aqua Coaster along with some other awesome rides before stopping for lunch, then spent some time relaxing on the lazy river such a great way to cool down and unwind.
In the early afternoon, we left Volcano Bay and headed over to Cabana Bay Beach Resort for a site inspection. With its fun retro 1950s and 60s theme, colourful design, spacious family accommodation, and fantastic facilities, it’s easy to see why it’s such a popular choice for guests visiting Universal Orlando.
After a quick change, we headed out for dinner at Jake’s American Bar at Loews Royal Pacific Resort. The food was fantastic and it was the perfect way to recharge before our evening plans.
We then made our way back to Universal Studios Florida for the nighttime show, but not before a quick ride on Minion Land’s Villain-Con Minion Blast, a brilliant interactive shooting game which, I’m delighted to say, I won! 😎🏆
The perfect ending to the day was watching CineSational: A Symphonic Spectacular. Wow what a show! The combination of fountains, music, projections, lighting and fireworks was absolutely breathtaking. I would urge anyone heading to Universal Studios to make time to stay and watch it one evening – it’s an experience you won’t forget! ✨🎆

Wow, yesterday was an absolutely amazing day! 🤩
We started the morning with breakfast at the Hard Rock Hotel, and wow... what a spread! Pancakes, waffles, French toast, bacon, sausages, eggs – literally everything you could dream of for breakfast. The perfect way to fuel up for a big day ahead!
Then it was time for our VIP experience at Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. First stop: Diagon Alley, where we ventured into Gringotts Bank and got chased by trolls before hopping aboard the Hogwarts Express over to Islands of Adventure. ⚡🚂
Next up was Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure... TWICE! What an incredible ride! We also braved Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey and found ourselves being chased by Dementors. 🧙‍♂️
Then it was time for VelociCoaster – wow, this ride is SO fast! Definitely one of the biggest thrills of the day. After a quick stop for lunch, we slowed things down slightly with The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man (still one of my all-time favourites), followed by Doctor Doom’s Fearfall and The Incredible Hulk Coaster. 🕷️💚
We then headed back over to Universal Studios to take on Revenge of the Mummy before finishing the park day with The Bourne Stuntacular. Honestly, if you visit Universal, this live show is not to be missed – absolutely incredible!
To round off the day, we enjoyed some amazing Mexican food at CityWalk before finally crashing into bed completely exhausted.
Over 20,000 steps later, we are absolutely knackered but already recharged and ready for another adventure… Volcano Bay today! 🌋☀️

Touchdown in Florida for an incredible Universal Fam trip with the one and only Attraction World

We flew into Melbourne with TUI from a very impressive looking Manchester Airport, and the excitement started before we even took off. The whole group was in high spirits and buzzing for the week ahead.

After landing in Melbourne it was a smooth one hour transfer up to Universals Terra Luna Resort, our base for this adventure. A quick change the straight out to explore.

- Aventira hotel with its amazing views from the 17th floor rooftop bar

- Sapphire Falls which offers some fantastic places to eat and unwind

By 10pm local time (3am uk time) we finally fell into bed, ready to recharge for a scorching day at Universal fun ahead.

We’re already seeing a lot of posts about people being turned away at the airport as their passport isn’t valid for travel.

When you book with us, we give you all of the up to date information about travel requirements and ask for passports 8 weeks before travel, that way, any issues are dealt with in plenty of time.

So what do you need to know?

✔️ Check the FCDO advice for up to date information on the country/countries that you are travelling to

📆 Check the issue date and the expiry date, the issue date is particularly important for Europe

✔️ Make sure the photo page and chip are undamaged

❌ Make sure the name on your flight ticket exactly matches your passport

🛑 Children’s passports often run out sooner than you expect, so double check theirs too
