💚 “Hi. We did have a great time thanks. Hotel was lovely and in a great spot (and heaven if you like Gucci, Bvgali, Rolex, Alexander McQueen, Chanel, Louis Vitton etc etc!!) but worth knowing if any clients have difficulties with stairs the hotel would be a problem. You need to use stairs even though there is a tiny lift. The staff were brilliant, and the room...... I'll send pictures! The hotel had a rooftop bar where you could also have breakfast and what I would call 'small eats' eg meat and/or cheese platter; but no meals as such. Mind you there were loads of places to eat well, the pick of the bunch being Unik (pronounced - unique).
The weather was very good except for one massive thunderstorm just as we were waiting for the tour of the Colosseum. The one tour was enough on a three day trip though, more would have been hard work, so we spent the rest of the time walking. Trevi fountain and the Pantheon were highlights, but if we were to go again (and we want to!) we would go early May or late September when it's not so hot and not so packed.
Thanks for helping sort it. The break was both necessary and a super birthday treat. Pics to follow!
