Now free to watch: Scotland's Highlands & Islands with Lewis Nunn

Following its launch on Amazon Prime Video, Netflix and Apple TV, our hour-long documentary is now available to watch for free on YouTube. Filmed on board Hebridean Princess during a seven-night voyage around Scotland's west coast, it follows television presenter Lewis Nunn as he tastes langoustines fresh from the water in Oban, tours the Colonsay Gin Distillery, saddles up for a beach horse trek in Gairloch, and explores the abandoned townships of Mull.

As Lewis put it himself, small-ship cruising is "by far, the most extraordinary way to see Scotland."

βš“ End of summer, end of an unforgettable voyage! βš“

As the days grew shorter, we brought our summer sojourn home β€” sailing south from the wild beauty of Orkney, round Cape Wrath, and through the islands of the Hebrides back to our home port of Oban. 🏴󠁧󠁒󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

In Orkney we stood among 5,000-year-old standing stones at the Ring of Brodgar, explored the Italian Chapel built by WWII prisoners of war, and admired St Magnus Cathedral in Kirkwall. From there we rounded rugged Cape Wrath and the north coast before island-hopping through the Hebrides β€” Harris, Skye, North Uist, Canna, Rum and Mull β€” taking in castles, distilleries, ancient cairns and some of Scotland's best birdlife along the way. πŸ¦…πŸ°πŸ₯ƒ

We toasted it all with a Farewell Gala Dinner at anchor in Oban Bay, before waking up back at home port β€” full of stories, sea air and a little bit of island magic. πŸ’™

Just a short note to let you know that time is running out to make the most of our early booking savings on the 2027 Lord of the Highlands collection.
As our reservations office will be closed on Monday 31 August for the summer bank holiday, we've extended the deadline by one day so you don't miss out. You now have until Tuesday 1 September 2026 to secure:
● A 15% early booking saving across all 2027 cruises
● A further 5% saving on your lowest-priced cruise when you book two or more 2027 voyages together
After Tuesday 1 September, early booking savings will reduce in line with availability β€” so if you've been considering a voyage through the Caledonian Canal, the Great Glen, or along Scotland's west coast and the Inner Hebrides, now is the time to secure your place.

Ten unforgettable days exploring the wild beauty of Orkney and Shetland aboard Hebridean Princess βš“

✨ Orkney & Shetland: our summer so far ✨

Hebridean Princess has made three voyages to the Northern Isles this summer, and what a season it's been. We've stood among 5,000-year-old stones at Skara Brae, the Ring of Brodgar and the Standing Stones of Stenness, and crawled inside a Neolithic tomb on Sanday. We've wandered the Italian Chapel, built by WWII prisoners of war from little more than two Nissen huts and remarkable ingenuity. We've watched puffins wheel above Sumburgh Head, circumnavigated Fair Isle, and sailed right past Muckle Flugga, the lighthouse marking Britain's most northerly point. We've explored Jarlshof's four thousand years of layered history, toured Unst's Viking longhouse and longship, and even glimpsed the UK's newest spaceport at Saxa Vord. Along the way there's been a ceilidh on board in Kirkwall, museum visits in Stromness, Lerwick and Whalsay, and no shortage of scenic Pentland Firth crossings.
