The Lares Trek is a more easygoing 22 mile, four day route that combines Inca culture with spectacular Andean scenery. The trail passes ancient ruins, remote Quechua villages where weaving traditions are still preserved, mountain passes, alpine lakes like Ipsaycocha and the famous Lares Hot Springs. With fewer visitors than other routes, it also offers a more peaceful trekking experience and better chances to spot local wildlife 🥾
