🌍❄️ Two Poles. Two Different Worlds. ❄️🐧🐻‍❄️

I'm always excited when I get a polar expedition enquiry, probably partly because it's on my (long) list of places I'd love to explore. But when thinking of your preferred pole, there's so much to consider and it's never going to be a quick decision.

I'm always happy to help clients find the right ship, right itinerary, and ultimately the right destination for what it is they want to get out of their adventure. It's important to have someone to talk this through with.

It's my mum's 60th birthday today and we've been plotting to secretly get the family together to surprise her for a private meal at a hotel (she thinks she's just going to have a spa treatment on her way to visit the Midlands where I'm based for a weekend of gardening...) She hopefully knows that we wouldn't do that on her birthday no matter how good she is at gardening, but it's been fun nevertheless to get her packing her gardening gloves.

So you may be asking why the photo of the Grand Canyon?

Well, two reasons. My Grandpa and his wife have flown from Arizona where they live and will be joining us today.
PLUS, one of my travel memories is exactly here with my parents. I vividly remember Mum shouting "not too close" (to the edge of the Canyon)...when I think back now, too right, it's pretty scary!

I get it. You want Greece. Authentic Greece. And you want to see more than just a large corporation resort hotel. But you're not sure where to go, except you've heard Santorini is popular.

I'm very excited because last week I booked my first transatlantic cruise.

I was referred by clients to a lovely couple who are visiting the States next year to judge a dog competition. Not only is the competition in a challenging location, but the couple aren't a huge fan of flying long haul so they needed to make sure it was as comfortable as possible to get them there ready for the event and they wanted to enjoy a leisurely adventure home by cruise.

They've booked premium economy seats for the outbound flight, a pre-cruise stay in Orlando before embarking on a 14-night transatlantic sailing on Celebrity Apex back to Southampton. They will have a lovely ocean view stateroom with all of their food, drinks and WiFi included too.

I am super grateful to these lovely clients who couldn't be more appreciative, and for the referral (thanks Mel!).
