We are looking for a Senior Workshop Administrator to join our engineering team.
This is a predominantly admin based role, ideal for someone with PSV, HGV or commercial vehicle experience who is looking to move away from full-time workshop duties whilst still using their technical knowledge.
The role is approximately:
๐ 90% administration, compliance, parts procurement & H&S coordination
๐ง 10% workshop support
Key Responsibilities
โ Managing workshop job cards, maintenance records and compliance documentation
โ Monitoring inspection schedules and supporting DVSA compliance
โ Sourcing parts, obtaining quotations and managing supplier relationships
โ Working with our external Health & Safety consultant to maintain workshop H&S systems
โ Managing fire records, attendance records, COSHH documentation and general depot administration
โ Supporting engineering staff with minor workshop duties when required
โ Monitoring lost property and other day-to-day depot administration
We're Looking For Someone With:

Strong administrative and organisational skills

Excellent attention to detail
โ
Advanced Excel, Word and Outlook skills
โ
A full UK driving licence
โ
The ability to manage records, deadlines and compliance requirements
Experience That Would Be Beneficial:
๐น PSV or HGV engineering background
๐น Workshop control or fleet engineering administration
๐น Parts management
๐น DVSA maintenance compliance
๐น Health & Safety administration
๐น Category D PSV licence
