Meet Serena, a Deck Cadet from Italy whose life at sea is filled with new goals, challenges and opportunities to learn.

Among the many ports she has visited, Mykonos remains a favorite. An early run, a refreshing swim and beautiful scenery make it the perfect start to her day before returning to watch.

For Serena, the dynamic nature of working at sea means there is always a new skill to master or experience to discover.

Thank you for all you do, Serena!

A taste of Spain with F&W Best New Chef Katie Button.

Katie joined guests in La Palma to explore the island’s volcanic landscapes and local traditions, sample its renowned Malvasia wines and share her insights in a special Q&A.

The experience continued with a Chef’s Market Dinner inspired by Spain and thoughtfully prepared with fresh, locally sourced ingredients, along with highlights from her cooking demonstration and a behind-the-scenes meeting with Executive Culinary Director Alexis Quaretti.

A glimpse into our Food & Wine Best New Chef Specialty Cruise, where discovering a place often begins at the table.

Travel has a different rhythm when there’s time to truly enjoy it.

To savor what’s on the table, discover what’s beyond the shore and enjoy the moments in between.

Perhaps that’s what traveling well is all about.

Some journeys begin long before the first guest steps aboard. Oceania Sonata™ has just floated out at the Fincantieri shipyard in Marghera, Italy, the first of five ships in our new Sonata Class. Nearly 30% larger than Oceania Allura™ yet home to only 90 additional accommodations, she was designed with one idea at her core: The Joy of Traveling Well. More space in every lounge, every bar, every suite and stateroom, so every breathtaking destination feels as good to arrive at as it does to sail toward.

And when it's time to dine, the journey continues. The Finest Cuisine at Sea® welcomes two new culinary concepts, La Table par Maîtres Cuisiniers de France and Nikkei Kitchen, alongside Oceania favorites across 13 dining venues. Her debut isn't until August 2027, but today, we celebrate how far she's already come.

Oceania Sonata™ has officially floated out.

Our newest ship touched the water for the first time at the Fincantieri shipyard in Marghera, Italy, marking a major milestone in her construction.

Now, Oceania Sonata moves to the fitting-out berth, where her interiors and onboard experiences will begin to come to life—including spacious new accommodations and 13 dining venues.

The first ship in our new Sonata Class will welcome her first guests in August 2027. We look forward to sharing every step of the journey.

Kotor is a destination where the arrival is part of what makes the day.

Sailing into the bay, surrounded by mountains and passing small villages along the water, is an experience in itself. Then comes Kotor — its old town, stone streets and cafés tucked inside centuries-old walls, all waiting to be explored.

Have you experienced the magic of arriving in Kotor by sea?
