2024 what a year you were!

We’ve had another fantastic year of building and growing our family-run business, surpassing even our own expectations. Our growth continued as we partnered with RIB Shack Marine, expanding our reach and offering shared boat ownership to a wider audience, making it easier than ever to get more people out on the water.

We wanted to say a massive thank you to all our clients new and existing for all your support this past year.

We welcomed two Brand New Highfield Patrol 760s to the fleet this year which carried out over 300 charters this year carrying a record number of passengers across The Solent. These have included corporate charters, family days out, stag/hen parties, festival goers, commercial work, safety and support boat, survey work, dive work, racing events and helping families say their goodbyes to loved ones by the scattering of ashes at sea. We have also done a lot of media work for the BBC, ITV, Channel 4, SKY, Cruise Ship Companies, Port Authorities and boat builders.

Thank you to each and every passenger/client who booked through us this year. We truly appreciate you choosing us to get out on the water.

We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all of our professional skippers, mechanics, marina staff, fellow operators, boating friends, family, and everyone behind the scenes. Your dedication and hard work in servicing our customers and maintaining the boats ensure they are always ready for the next charter. We truly appreciate your continued support and contribution.

Wishing everyone a Very Happy and Healthy New Year and we look forward to welcoming everyone onboard in 2025!

Our story

RIB Charters for You in The Solent and around The Isle of Wight

Southampton RIB Charter and Portsmouth RIB Charter was created from a passion and love for the water, and the journeys it can take you on. It has been a long time in the making, starting off as a dream the owner had as a child, and who has now been able to bring to life in his older(ish) years.

Let’s first talk about our leading skipper and owner of Southampton RIB Charter. Although born in the UK he maintains he is Greek! With Greek parents and strong family roots from Athens and the Aegean Islands his heart has always belonged to the sea. His ancestors and parents are heavily involved with shipping, being on board ships and surrounded by water was his first love. Every summer over the years have and continue to be spent in the water, on the water or by the water. This led to activities such as Scuba diving, snorkelling and countless boat trips. At every opportunity there will be a boat involved in one way or another.

All our skippers hold a Commercially Endorsed Advanced Powerboat Licence with all the relevant safety certificates including Sea Survival, First Aid and VHF use, which have been all certified by the Royal Yachting Association (RYA). Rest assured you are in safe hands, but if you have any queries then we will be happy to discuss these with you.
