Scotland Folk Tours founder Tim Grimm started his Beyond the Tartan tour on this spectacularly sunny day- guided through Old Town Edinburgh by the wonderful Fiona Brown. In 2027, Tim will lead a Beyond the Standing Stones tour up through the Isles of Lewis & Harris & Orkney- AND pilot our brand new Beyond the Barley Whisky Tour!

The feet are stomping the pavement in Edinburgh, the wheels of the bus are turning in Harris and just like that our season is off again! Murray’s off seeing the Standing Stones, Fiona’s hiking up Arthur’s Seat and drinking whisky, and a band of highland hungry guests are waiting for Gail to take them to Skye tomorrow. 2026 here we go!
