Happy Burns Night!

This evening we celebrate the life of ‘The Bard’, Scotland’s greatest poet, Robert Burns. (Who needs Shakespeare when you’ve got To A Mouse, Tam O’Shanter and A Red Red Rose!)

This evening we shall recite the Address to a Haggis (a wee snippet below), drink some Whisky and put on our strongest Scottish accents.

Behold the beauty of the Haggis in the photo. We tried to take a photogenic picture of it, but then alas, why try when you can show it in its true glory.

‘Ye Pow’rs wha mak mankind your care,
And dish them out their bill o’ fare,
Auld Scotland wants nae skinking ware
That jaups in luggies;
But, if ye wish her gratefu’ prayer,
Gie her a Haggis!’
