❗Important Car Parking Update

The Stirling Castle car park is currently closed to all vehicles except coaches and those requiring accessible parking due to high-level masonry concerns at the Craft and Clan gift shop building, which have resulted in the closure of nearby Ballengeich Road.

Ballengeich Road is essential for managing the high volume of traffic at Stirling Castle, and closure of the route while the car park remains open would likely result in significant congestion and disruption. Given the limited availability of alternative coach parking in the area, coaches are permitted to continue using the car park, together with those requiring accessible parking.

Once the inspections and any necessary repairs are carried out, the car park will be re-opened.
In the meantime, we urge visitors to seek alternative parking in the city centre or use the Castleview Park and Ride Service.

There will be an additional park and ride service being run this Sunday (Sunday 26 July) to help visitors reach the castle.

We apologise for any inconvenience this causes during your visit.
