🇺🇸 Important advice for anyone travelling to the USA this summer to ensure you aren’t caught out. 🇺🇸

1. Always apply for your ESTA via the government official link, not the first sponsored links that show on search engines. The correct link is :
https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov/
You can also find this on our Gov.uk website.
The current cost is $21 per person. If it shows more you are on the wrong site.

2. If you have travelled to Cuba since 2021 you will need a full visa. Wait times for an appointment can be up to 9 months! Do not go ahead and book any travel until you know your full visa is approved.

3. If you have any type of criminal record, no matter how long ago you will need a full visa.

4. Most important‼️ ESTAs are usually valid for 2 years. Even if you think yours is still valid please keep re-checking. The US Govt reserve the right to cancel any without notice or reason and often emails advising this can go astray. There has been an increase in recent cancellations without reason. Once cancelled the full Visa route is often the only option.

5. Your ESTA is linked to your passport, not you. If you renew your passport you need a new ESTA.

Any questions, you need to speak to your travel agent, airline or on Gov.uk.
