Yesterday we took a trip to the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust in Llanelli to see Barbara and Rose who have been greatly assisting in habit enhancement for Lapwing to nest. We also played hide and seek in the Water Vole City and I found my ideal house in the woods.

Horse and ponies (and goats) all do an excellent job on gorse. One of the roles our conservation grazing ponies play is in gorse reduction. To find out more you can PM our page.

Farmers are being encouraged to look at alternatives to gorse burning in an effort to protect the habitat of the hen harrier.

We're really happy to be helping already. Our ponies graze some of the Wildlife Trust of West and South Wales sites here on Gower and are already making a difference increasing biodiversity.

Today The Wildlife Trusts launch 30 by 30, a public appeal to raise £30 million to start putting nature into recovery across at least 30% of land and sea by 2030.
