St. Editha's is looking even better these days as the floodlights are now working for the first time in a number of years! It means everyone across the town can enjoy the magnificent architecture after dark.

We think the church looks particularly stunning along with Tamworth Castle : two of Staffordshire's finest buildings illuminated in the town centre 😍

Our thanks go to Tamworth Borough Council through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund for funding the repairs and helping to bring the lights back to life.

Here’s to seeing more of Tamworth’s wonderful heritage proudly illuminated for everyone to enjoy!

As a founder of the Tamworth Town Centre Forum, St. Editha's is committed to seeing our whole town flourish, including local businesses.

Fr. Andrew and St. Editha's staff enjoyed visiting Crave, the new coffee shop on Little Church Lane, yesterday!

A small, independent businesses doing a fantastic job of helping breathe new life into our town centre, and we wish owner Harry and his team every success!

2026 keeps getting better and better and has officially been our most successful year ever. 📆💫 But Tappers, we have more news for you…
Though we work tirelessly day in and day out - and are ever so slightly obsessed 🤦🏼‍♀️- we are always completely shocked and delighted to find out that we have won an award. This is even more so the case on this occasion. 😍
Tappers, you said it would happen and you were right. We have once again found ourselves in the Final Four of the CAMRA National Pub of the Year competition. This is our fourth year out of five in this position. Wow! 😵
We give our all to make the Tap a place where people want to spend their time and we take our role in your lives very seriously. It is a privilege to pour your pints and engage with you. At the heart of everything we do is your drinking experience and the community around us. So to have been recognised for this touches our hearts. 🍺♥️
We thank you for believing in us and for always being there. We thank our mighty team, who truly understand our passion and vision and deliver this with pride, knowledge and positivity every single day. And we thank all those in CAMRA for understanding what we are about and for taking the time to visit our establishment and be part of our story. 🥰
