Winter, 93'/4 around the time our Skipper started fishing at weekends while at School, one such Saturday his welly got wheeched over the side by a bight of rope sinking in water so shallow it could be seen from deck...rest of the day spent with a plastic bag wrapped round the now sock clad foot.... Glory days fishing for green crabs.

1979/80 the MacGregor's first foray into fishing for prawns, some lovely new creels being loaded on to the Oneforty. Both the Oneforty and the MK2 transit built during the heady days of the three day week, power cuts, Giles cartoons and smoked haddock, onions and sausages boiled in milk. Maybe the last one was just us.....

2001 Hayling Island, searching for a replacement for the Aaron, this took us to look at this part finished Holton 32, deck was so low there was a tiny access hatch in the deck to reach the engine oil filler. And the wheelhouse sole was so high that big Jack couldn't stand up in it...... This search took us to Brixham, before finding the Channel Hound which was owned by a guy who lived about 3 miles away from us....
