I spent a lovely day at Balfour Winery catching up with the Tourism Australian, New Zealand and the Cook Islands, plus Air New Zealand, Journey Beyond and Grand Pacific Tours all hosted by First Class Holidays. It was great to catch up and hear the latest updates and news and we were treated to a delicious lunch too. Thank you

Audley Travel's Kindred Away Event!
What a privilege it is to be part of the Kindred community of travel advisors. This year we returned to Audley's beautiful offices in Oxfordshire as well as being treated to an amazing dinner and stay at the stunning Estelle Manor. During the two day event we met their lovely new MD Lisa Fitzell, as well as numerous expert country specialists and had the opportunity to discuss the current outlook in travel. Thank you so much to Greg Thurston, Mark Garrett, Sarah Turner, Lisa Burton, Lucy Park, Natalia Adamou and everyone else at Audley Travel who made this such a special event!

Finally catching up after a very busy few weeks - enjoying myself I should say!

Had a wonderful trip to Puerto Pollensa in Mallorca with some friends, including meals at some very lovely restaurants and a 32 mile bike ride (alright...I'll admit I was on an electric bike!)

I earned my Aussie Specialist certification a couple of years ago which reflects my love for Australia. The wildlife and landscape are incredibly diverse and the Aussies are so welcoming - they don't even mind when I practice my terrible accent! No one can have been everywhere in this continent sized country (don't worry...I'll keep trying) so there's always more to explore.

For a once-in-a-life time experience, I highly recommend the iconic Indian Pacific railway. Travelling from ocean to ocean, linking Perth and Sydney over 5 days it stops in the gold-rush town of Kalgoorlie, offers stargazing in Cook, showcases the delicious food and wines of the Barossa Valley, explores the rich heritage of Broken Hill and finishes with a last stop at the breathaking Blue Mountains.

Australia is on a lot of peoples bucket lists, however, being on the other side of the world makes it seem like a daunting destination to visit. Luckily, Singapore is ideally located to break up the journey and make it seem less daunting.
Singapore is a great layover destination because it offers a perfect mix of culture, cuisine, and world-class attractions—all within a clean, safe, and easily walkable city. A few nights here will elevate your trip to Australia.

Australia being so large means it's good to focus on one region at at time. South Australia has plenty to keep you busy. Arriving into Adelaide allows you to enjoy the relative calm of the city with it's historic buildings and green parks.

The Adelaide Hills offer charming towns, scenic drives, boutique wineries, and fresh local produce all within a short trip from the city centre.
