Moor To Sea Cottages

We have two cottages in the very desirable Rock in Cornwall by the sea and a converted barn in central Dartmoor, near Moretonhampstead. In 2019 we added Morocco House in Kingswear near Dartmouth with amazing views and in 2020 Sandbar on the Roseland Peninsula, South Cornwall. Let us introduce Hollyhocks... The cottage can easily accommodate families and is set up so that one room can be used as a

twin room (downstairs). It is also suitable for groups and couples or can provide a welcome retreat for two! Whether you like walking, sailing, surfing, shopping, dining out, beaches or rivers, cycling or lazing - Hollyhocks at Rock has something for everyone. A special place where you instantly unwind and get into the slower pace of life. The cottage has a home from home feel, is quaint yet surprisingly spacious, you can choose to leave the car at the property as so much is so close. Take a ferry to Padstow for shops, restaurants and the Camel cycle trail, walk the coast paths or laze on sandy beaches. Next up, Bryher... The apartment is situated on desirable Rock Road and is one of five in a large property set back from the road with parking and communal grounds. Short breaks welcomed outside of high season. It has lovely country views towards St Enedoc golf course. It is modern and stylish with a fully fitted kitchen, breakfast area and dining area in open plan living space. One bedroom but living room has sofa beds for flexibility and plenty of storage for linen. Good quality furnishings and well-equipped.Two TV/DVDs Internet access, now with BT Infinity and BT Sport. It is close to good range of local shops, beaches, sailing school and access to passenger ferry to lively Padstow with abundance of shops and places to eat. Surfing hire/tuition at Polzeath with good places to eat and shop. Lovely coastal walks and fine dining in the area (Nathan Outlaw & Rick Stein). Port Isaac for Doc Martin fans and historic Tintagel a short drive away. Bryher can be booked with Hollyhocks (sleeps 7) for larger parties. On Dartmoor we have The Cowshed... The Cowshed is quality accommodation, quirky yet spacious, a 15-20 minute walk to a range of local amenities including a small supermarket, deli, bakers, butchers, chemist, Post Office, cafes, & good pubs. There are lovely country views from the property both to the front and rear. There are pine floors throughout. Downstairs there is a large open plan living area with a log-burner and a newly fitted kitchen, fully tiled wet room with heated floor, large sunny, private courtyard with side entrance door. In 2019 we added Morocco House, Kingswear near Dartmouth in Devon, on the SW coast path. It is a beautifully decorated townhouse, sleeping 6, one kingsize, one queen which splits into singles and a quality double sofa bed in attic room. It has 2 bathrooms (one ensuite), garden area, amazing views and parking. Its stunning location means you can watch the boats go by on the river Dart, listen to the steam train in the distance and catch the ferry to historic Dartmouth for cafes, shops and restaurants. Finally in 2020 we were excited to be able to purchase Sandbar during a lockdown! Situated in St Just in Roseland S Cornwall, it is a stunning reverse level 2 bed modern house with incredible views over the estuary. A walker's paradise, St Mawes nearby with its castle and harbour, restaurants and pubs. Sandbar is comfortable with its log burner, 2 bathrooms (1 ensuite) and space for additional guests if required. Garden and parking. There are beaches to explore, boat trips, ferry to Falmouth and Truro for shopping. The Roseland Peninsula is an area of outstanding natural beauty and will not disappoint!
